My idea consist of having a polarized contact lens that can be prescription or regular that tints to how bright it is outside. Similar to the eye glasses that change from clear to dark, these contacts would do the exact same but you would not have to wear any sort of glasses. This contact would let people be outside and take away any chance of getting a sunglass tan. After being outside, you wouldn't need to change any sort of lens because the lens would automatically change. Additionally, the polarized part of the contact lens acts like a normal polarized pair of sunglasses would. Polarized lens's are a lot healthier for your eyes than normal sunglasses lens's and would make everything have a crisp image.
Some things that could enhance the safety of your business is by understanding computer safety. For example. administering an account on a computer for a business's computer "enables them to access all files and programs on the computer or network"(Operating Systems and Utility Programs). When you have all the programs and information on a computer it is imperative to have permissions, which specifically define who can acces one's computer. Having a log in which contains a username and password are necessities in logging onto someone's computer. The Username and Password are both combinations of letters,symbols, and numbers that are unique to the user. This only allows yourself to access the information on your computer as long as the password is kept to yourself.
Other things that you have to look out for and are crucial to keeping your computer secure is malware. Malware is a malicious software that "acts without a user's knowledge and deliberately alters the computers operations."This virus could be detrimental to the company and is the last thing that the company needs to worry about. Some ways in avoiding virus's are by utilizing firewalls. Firewalls are available to computers owners to protect personal computers from intruders. They monitor what everything that is running "to and from the computer" while the user is using it or while it not in use. The last thing that anybody wants is to have a hacker which is someone who intentionally tries to intrude on a computer or netwok illegally. Their intentions are to either steel information or to create virus's. A virus is something that has the capability to damage or destroy a computer or network. It has the potential, once in the system, to spread through out multiple files and the operating system with intentions to create havoc for the user. Having the most recommended programs for computer security will help decrease the ability for hackers to disrupt a companies network system or personal computers.
To conclude, computer security is extremely serious because having a business and keeping important financial documents and other information can be easily accessible to intruders, and if you do not take the necessary precautions to stopping it, all the information could be stolen. To add on to specific programs to help increase security, internet filters are another way to protect your computer. A filter is a program that removes and blocks items from being displayed. Some filters that one could use are web filters and phishing filters. A web filter has the ability to restrict acces to dangerous material on websites that may have the capabilities to damage your computer. Phishing filters are a program that warns a user from "potentially fraudulent or suspicious Web sites". This becomes useful when you have scams in which intruders try to obtain personal and financial information. Although there is a huge problem with computer security, there is still ways in protecting one's self from these perpetrators and taking these precautions will only benefit people such as myself to enhance the safety of my computer.
